What is The Real Life of An Engineer?

Engineering is a technical concept encompassing a wide range of technologies and industries. Combining mathematics, science and technology, engineers create innovative solutions to real world problems. Many engineers develop new different products such as chemicals, computers, power plants, helicopter, and toys especially in Ipoh, Perak and Kuala Lumpur.

Types of Engineering

Previously, engineering could be divided into four main branches which are Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, and Electrical with sub branches of each discipline. Nevertheless, today the number of engineering degrees has significantly increased especially in Ipoh, Perak and Kuala Lumpur. Now, there are six main branches of engineering include Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Management, and Geotechnical, with literally hundreds of separate engineering subcategories within each division in Ipoh, Perak and Kuala Lumpur.

What Are the Duties and Responsibilities of Engineers?

The roles and responsibilities of engineers are to ensure the safety and effectiveness of a process system or product. Engineers work within a team and need to be able to cooperate with other coworker to ensure the success of a project especially in developing cities like Ipoh, Perak and Kuala Lumpur. Effective communication plays an important role between engineers, customers and businesses.

One common task to all engineers is problem solution. The problem can include quantitative or qualitative factors and it may be physical or economic. Abstract mathematics or common sense may be indispensable. Apart from that, engineers have a specific duty to determine goals, set performance requirements, select materials and processes, and define assessment procedures. Engineers’ success depends on their ability to create a new idea, a new device, a new process, and a new material in developing cities like Ipoh, Perak and Kuala Lumpur.

Work Environment

Most engineers are working in office buildings, labs, or manufacturing plants. However, there are also engineers that spend time outdoors at construction sites and exploration and production sites for oil and gas, where they track or guide operations or resolve on site issues. Some engineers travel widely to plants or worksites here and abroad.
